Alexis Grason, CFP ®, RICP ® joins FJY Financial as a Senior Financial Advisor to serve their existing client base, grow new relationships, and help shape the future of the firm.
The foundation of her financial planning approach begins with building an individual relationship with each client and understanding his/her perspective in life. Through collaboration Alexis works with clients to develop a meaningful financial plan that provides a balance of fulfillment today with the stability of a secure tomorrow.
Over 14 years of experience cultivating client relationships is an essential component to navigating efficacious financial partnerships. Her mindful approach facilitates clients to attain their goals while avoiding the pitfalls that often hinder meaningful financial success. Her experience allows her to be the coach, counselor, and mentor you deserve on your path to financial independence.
Alexis received her Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) certification from The American College of Financial Services in 2015. Prior to this, she earned her CFP® certification in 2007 and a financial planning focused B.S. degree from Virginia Tech in 2004. A member of the Financial Planning Association since 2002, she attends seminars and continuing education events annually. She hopes to bring her consistent love of learning to mentorship of up and coming financial planners with the FJY team.
On a Personal Note
Alexis and her family appreciate the Reston community with its accessibility to local hiking and biking trails. Their rescue Pointer mix, River, loves to tag along! Her husband, Dave, is an avid rock climber and mountain biker. Together, they find relationship success through a balance of setting common goals and deliberately cherishing the simplicity of life’s joys.
Traveling abroad to visit extended family in England creates unforgettable experiences and historical enrichment. They especially love the coasts of Cornwall and Wales and breathtaking view of rolling hills in the countryside. Locally, Alexis builds community through Vienna Presbyterian Church and volunteer opportunities.
Alexis’s personal growth is helped by a new Mindfulness-meditation practice as well as pushing herself outside her comfort zone, whether it is mountain biking with Dave, testing new healthy recipes, or challenging workouts with her trainer or Bootcamp class. However, a good book and cup of tea have a special place in her heart!
